Song Dogs: Music

Angie had this little riff she would do variating only one finger of the chord; only changing it from a seventh to a sixth. But when she back-picked after her strum it had this real unique atmosphere about it and she'd always do that little stop-for-a-beat thing, almost like when you go back and forth from 4/4 to 3/4 time. Somebody in the studio made fun of Jimmy Buffet so that's where the beach sounds and the marimba and, I suppose, the tequila came from.
